There are just some things you remember for the rest of your life. Those very special moments a youngster experiences stay with him/her until the day they get called onto the next life.

The moments are so cherished that their children eventually become sick and tired of hearing about the story every day, every day, every day.

At Madison Square Garden tonight, one of these very moments might have just occurred.

During the second quarter of the New York Knicks contest against the Detroit Pistons, Carmelo Anthony “pounded it” with a young fan as he awaited to be subbed in at the scorer’s table (video above).

Not only did it make this kid’s night a special one, but it also brought a smile to Melo’s face.

Anthony has scored nine points on 4-10 shooting from the floor as his Knicks hold a slim one point lead over the Pistons.
