The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with Make-A-Wish forward Kayleigh Petersen today just before the game against Colorado.

Before the game tonight the New York Rangers made a last minute free agent signing.

Partnering with the Garden of Dreams and Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Blueshirts have made a 7-year old’s dream come true.

Kayleigh Peterson is going to be critical for the Rangers tonight, all players are looking to her for some good luck.

Adam Graves was the one who wanted Peterson, saying that, “She has tremendous skills and we felt her strength and character are through the roof,” per BlueShirtsUnited.

Not only is her one day contract impressive, but she is the first female to play for the Blueshirts.

This is nothing short of a class act, and the New York Rangers are known for this. Players are all involved with giving back to the community, and are all for helping those less fortunate.

I love watching sports, specifically teams in New York. I'll root for all New York teams, but the New York Rangers and hockey are my number one. I am an avid hockey fan and enjoy expressing my opinion on the Blueshirts, when they are playing good and bad.
