For the New York Rangers, they’ve now won seven straight games and can claim only one other NHL team (Montreal Canadiens) as having more points than their current total of 26.

Their latest victim happened to be another top dog in the league, the St. Louis Blues. In what many thought was going to be a defensive battle between two of the hotter goalies in the league, turned out to be an offensive explosion which the Blueshirts handily took by the final of 6-3.

The guy who was straight bananas tonight was Mats Zuccarello. Three points later, he ended up the lucky individual to don the famed Broadway Hat.

Never to be out-done, Henrik Lundqvist once again made another highlight reel save with the paddle:

Derick Brassard, Kevin Hayes, J.T. Miller, Dan Girardi, and Ryan McDonagh were the other five goal scorers for the Rangers on the night.

After exploding for a quick 3-0 first period lead, the Blues quickly scored two (one in the first period and one in the second) to inch rather close. New York just wouldn’t allow them to get that all important equalizer.

The Rangers will now take the show on the road, to Ottawa and take on the Senators on Saturday night.
