Henrik Lundqvist is already proving why he is nicknamed ‘The King’ with this unbelievable diving save that he made last night to deny Ryan Johansen.

In the words of Joe Micheletti “You have got to be kidding me.”

Being inside the crease to make a save is clearly too easy for Henrik Lundqvist, and he showed that last night when he made this unbelievable save to deny Ryan Johansen late in the 2nd period.

Lundqvist went on to make 37 saves in the game to see his team win with a 5-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets. As a result of this, he deservedly got the 1st star of the game, and got to wear the famous Broadway Hat.

We are only three games into the season, and Lundqivst is already making saves like that. Give the other guys a chance, eh Hank?
