New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie decided to make the landscape of New York City football a little more interesting recently.

For New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles this can’t be what he wanted.
Although Bowles loves to run a tight ship in New York – unlike what we’ve seen the past six seasons – one of his players seems to not be able to control himself.
Antonio Cromartie, the Robin to Darrelle Revis’s Batman, loves Twitter. We’ve seen him very active in the past with the likes of ex-Jet Kellen Winslow Jr., and even a coaches son.
This time, however, he didn’t need Twitter.
During an appearance on ESPN’s SportsNation, the talkative one was asked who the best three receivers were in the NFL.

He named Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown and Dez Bryant. Odell Beckham Jr. wasn’t mentioned.
Actually, he was, just with the complete opposite feeling.
Cromartie called ODB a “one-year wonder.”
I need to see it on an every-game basis—not him getting penalties or something like that, or sucker-punching somebody, Cromartie added. I think it’s all about how you carry yourself throughout your whole entire career. … He’s had the most production than any receiver I’ve seen in 16 games since Randy Moss. But you have to do it week in and week out, and depend on that person—no matter if you’re getting double- or triple-teamed. Randy Moss didn’t complain when he got triple- or double-teamed, and people went after him also.
If that doesn’t hype things up in the Metropolitan area, nothing will.
