What more could New York Islanders fans ask for than an overtime thriller as their first experience at the Barclays Center?
How about a win?
Unfortunately, Patrick Kane made sure to see that wouldn’t happen as his Chicago Blackhawks pick-up their first two-points of the season in the 3-2 OT victory.

Kane scored twice on the night, his second obviously being in overtime. It didn’t come on the new 3-on-3 variety though. Instead, it came on a 4-on-3 power play after Nick Leddy was called for slashing.
John Tavares and Marek Zidlicky were the goal scorers for the home team.
Both teams will turn around quickly and complete the home and home series in Chicago tomorrow night.
