The New York Mets and LA Dodgers may not have taken the field in the playoffs, but the series is already starting off with a twitter war.
By Steven Cifuentes
Home field has not yet been decided, but that did not stop a mini twitter war to start between a large group from New York and a large group from Los Angeles.
Metro Los Angeles and the Metro New York are currently engaged in a back and forth twitter war to try and get both sides fired up.
While I may complain in the middle of the summer waiting 20 minutes for the seven train, my New York blood begins to boil when Los Angeles takes shots at New York.
While I hate to admit when New York loses, the rat pizza tweet and guy jumping the track tweet gives LA the win. Lets get the games going already and see who talks the most smack on the field.
Hey @MTA please tidy up the 7 train, @Dodgers blue is coming to town. #lolmets @Mets

Don’t worry, @MetroLosAngeles – we sweep our subway just like the @Mets will sweep the @Dodgers — MTA (@MTA) September 30, 2015
A friendly wager, @MTA? Perhaps your famous New York pizza. #Dodgers #LolMets pic.twitter.com/5g1vpMBuZF

.@metrolosangeles Happy to wager on who wins the series. Care to wager on who gets more fans to the ballpark? — MTA (@MTA) September 30, 2015
You got us on the numbers, @MTA. Assuming your riders remember how transit works. pic.twitter.com/rpYc9JjGNZ
