One of Elite Sports NY’s very own writers, Corey Aron, had a chance to sit down and chat with Outasight, a diehard New York Giants fan.

Maybe I’m superstitious, but I believe having an interview with Platinum artist Outasight totally helped hype up the New York Giants first win of the season in last Thursday night’s showdown against the Washington Redskins.

Now for those who don’t know who Outasight is, here’s a commercial to ‘The Road to Super Bowl 50’ which features his hot hit track “Wild Life”

Outasight, aka Richard Andrew (32), grew up living in Yonkers, NY and became a New York Giants fan during the midst of the Bill Parcells era. He’s currently living out on the West Coast but he knew right away that Thursday’s Night’s game time was starting at 5:30 PST. During our interview, Outasight mentioned three things that I can not argue with:

    • We’ve played well against the Redskins (5 straight wins)
    • Kirk Cousins has not played well versing the Giants (8 interceptions)
    • The NFC East Division is definitely in flux

You know how when a team goes on a championship run, their is usually a tribute song to make the team standout more and pump things up a bit. For example Jim Jones’ “Ballin” song was a theme during the 2007 Super Bowl run. Not to get too ahead of things here, but Outasight would have no problem coming up with a Giants feel-good song to make us all remember this years team. Why not us? I believe the Giants can make something out of this season.

Below is the interview in its’ entirety, and who knows, maybe Elite Sports NY will throw a big football bash one day with Outasight performing his hit songs!
