New York Islanders

For those diehard New York Islanders fans who didn’t want to see the black and white jerseys you’re nightmare is now officially reality.

If you once thought the New York Islanders moving to Brooklyn would only change the location of their home games, well think again.

Not only will they now share a home with the Brooklyn Nets, they’ll look like them as well. Embracing Brooklyn isn’t even the appropriate term. They’re suddenly copying them.

Check out captain John Tavares showing off the Isles brand-spanking new third jerseys:

The only question the entire NHL community will have is “why?”

It’s bad enough us NFL fans have to endure the San Francisco 49ers putting forth a monstrosity with their all-black uniforms on Monday Night Football. Now, we have the Isles looking to completely mesh with their new-found brothers.

Stick to the classics all day, everyday.
