New York Giants Welcome In Jaguars, NFL Preseason Week 2With the backstory remaining injuries, poor play and Eli Manning’s contract demands (or lack thereof), the New York Giants will welcome in the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight for a little NFL preseason action.

There’s no question at spots of the field head coach Tom Coughlin will zero in on. The safety spots, offensive line and wide receiver remain of the highest importance for Big Blue.

Dan Granziano of ESPN New York is reporting that both Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle are expected to miss the game. This means Odell Beckham Jr. and a cast of characters who now have an immense opportunity ahead of them will play the role of pass catchers for Manning.

The following players are not expected to play tonight:

  • WR Julian Talley
  • CB Prince Amukamara
  • S Landon Collins
  • CB Chykie Brown
  • CB Jayron Hosley
  • S Nat Berhe
  • S Cooper Taylor
  • CB Chandler Fenner
  • LB Jonathan Casillas
  • Tackle Will Beatty
  • OL Brandon Mosley
  • WR Victor Cruz
  • WR Rueben Randle
  • DE George Selvie

The trend that is Giants’ players getting early and often in the summer continues.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 PM ET from East Rutherford, NJ.
