Yet again the New York Rangers took their fans to the brink of heart failure, but yet again they came away with another close victory.

Although the fans who attended the game at Madison Square Garden witnessed their New York Rangers completely dominate the first half of the game, it was ultimately destined for overtime.

As they usually do, the Rangers found a way. They escaped with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

First-line winger Mats Zuccarello was injured  towards the end of the first period. He took a wicked Ryan McDonagh slapshot off the face, and did not return.

This turn of events forced head coach Alain Vigneault to shuffle his lines the rest of the game. In overtime, it set up the line of Dominic Moore, Jesper Fast and Carl Hagelin to come up big on the brightest stage:
