New York Yankees Announce Date For First Spring Training Game

The New York Yankees have announced the first game of Spring Training 2017 at the newly renovated George M. Steinbrenner Field.
The baseball season may be ending this week but do not worry, the 2017 season is right around the corner.
According to the New York Yankees Twitter account, Spring Training will commence on February 24 versus the Philadelphia Phillies at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL.
The complex, which opened on March 1, 1996, will undergo renovations that include the additions of new logo boxes, cabanas, suite upgrades, a right-field beachside bar and a bullpen club.
The full schedule and tickets for all the games this upcoming Spring Training will be released next week.
