On the Scene with Mike Vivalo brings us to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City for the WTP Foundation and CHOP All in for Kids Charity Poker Tournament. Among the guests are anchor Lynn Gilmartin, New York Giants’ Justin Pugh, Barstool Nate and the host of the evening, Phil Hellmuth, Jr.
ESNY’s Mike Vivalo was on the scene Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City for the “All in for Kids” charity poker night hosted by the World Poker Tour and benefiting the children hospital of Philadelphia.
The MC and host of the evening was poker great Phil Helmuth. He was joined by WPT personalities Tony Dunst, Vince Van Patten and Lynn Gilmartin as well as Barstool blogger Nate and Justin Pugh of New York Giants. We also spoke with brain surgeon Dr. Jay Storm, who schooled us on what poker hands are best.
The room was filled with New York Heavy hitters, all enjoying raising money for a great cause. Normally, the main poker room would be all business, but this was more of a party.
