New York Giants wideout Sterling Shepard dedicated his 18-yard touchdown catch on Sunday to his wife, Chanel Iman.

On Sunday, the New York Giants were only able to cross the goal line once. In a 31-13 defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers, Daniel Jones tossed an 18-yard touchdown pass to wideout Sterling Shepard.

The score tied the game at seven and was Jones’ 18th touchdown pass of his rookie season.

As for Shepard, it was just his second touchdown reception of 2019. The fourth-year pro has dealt with a multitude of concussions, which has caused him to miss six games in total.

In just his second week back after a skid in which he was sidelined for five straight games, Shepard caught three balls for 40 yards. After the lone touchdown, he pointed to the camera and mentioned how the score was for his wife, Chanel Iman.

Sunday was Iman’s 29th birthday. Of course, the Giants’ official Twitter account caught the special moment.

The couple married in March of 2018. They have one daughter, Cali Clay, who was born on Aug. 10, 2018.

The 18-yard score for Shepard was his first touchdown reception since the Week 3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Through six games, the Oklahoma University product has caught 33 balls for 322 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite the great play and the sentimental move thereafter by Shepard, the Giants dropped their eighth consecutive game. They’re now 2-10 on the year, heading into their Week 14 matchup with the second-place Philadelphia Eagles next Monday night.
