Episode No. 11 of the Wide Right Podcast recaps the New York Giants’ loss to the Bears as well as previews their upcoming Week 13 matchup.

The New York Giants are officially 2-9 after their most recent 19-14 loss to the Chicago Bears. Struggles on either side of the ball remained existent and consistent, as Big Blue dropped their seventh straight game. If you missed it, don’t worry. The latest episode (No. 11) of the Wide Right Podcast has you covered.

Along with recapping the loss, we’ll transition into the latest rumor that the Giants could target Jason Garrett as their next head coach. This, if both Garrett and Pat Shurmur are relieved of their duties by their respective ballclubs.

There’s obviously a strong chance Shurmur will be gone at the end of the year. Since his hire in January of 2018, he’s gone 7-20 as the team’s head coach. Garrett, on the other hand, has been with the Dallas Cowboys since he served as their interim head coach during the 2010 season. Since then, he’s only achieved two postseason victories, not making it farther into the playoffs than the NFC Divisional round.

The podcast will also discuss the latest injury news involving Jabrill Peppers (transverse process fracture) and Golden Tate (concussion).

And finally, we’ll preview the Giants’ Week 13 game against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday afternoon. The Packers, despite coming off a tough 37-8 defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, are 6.5-point favorites over the Giants. Let’s just say, if the Giants allowed Mitch Trubisky to throw for 278 yards, they could be in deep trouble against Aaron Rodgers.
