New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell spent time with his children prior to the team’s Week 11 matchup with the Washington Redskins.

The New York Jets traveled to what was virtually an empty FedEx Field to take on the Washington Redskins this past Sunday. Gang Green was coming off a big 34-27 win over the New York Giants the week before to improve to 2-7 on the year. In Landover, MD, they had a chance to go on a two-game winning streak.

Prior to the matchup, Jets running back Le’Veon Bell spotted his kids in the crowd. Bell then went over to spend some time with them prior to kickoff, in what ended up being a special moment.

Bell then went on to carry the ball 18 times against the Redskins for 59 yards and one touchdown. He additionally caught two balls on two targets for 33 yards through the air. He now has 508 total rushing yards on 3.2 yards-per-carry with three touchdowns. His total receiving statistics include 46 receptions on 57 targets for 309 yards and one touchdown.

Le’Veon has struggled much of the year, but the offensive line group that’s blocking for him hasn’t been all that great. That group has dealt with setbacks to Ryan Kalil and Brian Winters, who are both out for the year, along with the recently-released Kelechi Osemele.

The Jets defeated the Redskins 34-17 to improve to 3-7. Their three wins are all against teams in the NFC East division, with victories over the Redskins, Giants, and Dallas Cowboys. The latter was a 24-22 showdown in Week 6.
