New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell wants to be No. 1 on the field for Gang Green as well as in the music studio.

Le’Veon Bell has accomplished much in his still-young football career. The three-time Pro Bowler has established himself as one of the top running backs in the league, having been named a First-team All-Pro twice.

However, football isn’t the only thing the New York Jets running back wants to be the best at. Additionally, Bell strives to be No. 1 in the music studio.

That’s right. In case you didn’t know, Bell currently has a career as a rapper as well, having dropped numerous projects under the stage name “Juice.” He now goes by his given name.

“For real, I want to be No. 1,” Bell said, per Dennis Waszak Jr. of the Associated Press. “I want to hit the No. 1 song, the No. 1 Billboard (song), that’s what I want to do. I want to eventually get better and get to those music shows, making songs with the great ones and things like that.”

Bell has discussed situations in his music such as his former contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He especially did this in his EP titled “My Side of Things.”

The Jets running back released his debut project in 2014 and has continued to keep his eyes forward.

“There’s been no looking back since,” Bell said. “I’ve been showing everybody I’ve been able to do it, I’ve been proud of it. I’ve been striving for it and I want to be the best at it. Just kind of how I take football, because I love it.”

His latest album, titled Life is a Gamble, was released in March of 2019. It’ll be fun to see what Bell has in store for us next when it comes to both the turf and the microphone.
