On the Scene with Mike Vivalo brings the legendary Wu-Tang Clan breaking down the New York Sports divide prior to “Of Mics and Men.”

As far as iconic rap groups go, you would be hard pressed to find a more impactful squad than the Wu-Tang Clan.

Since the early 1990s, Wu-Tang has defined themselves with creativity and authenticity that doesn’t come around very often. The new Docu-Series titled Of Mics and Men premieres May 10 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime and is chock-full of amazing interviews, raw and unfiltered quotes, and never before seen footage.

If you’re a Wu-Tang fan, this is a must watch.

One consistent detail throughout the four-part series was that nearly all members of the group were rocking Yankee gear at some point. Mostly hats, but jackets and shirts as well.

I sat down with some of the guys to discuss their sports allegiances and how New Yorkers choose which team to root for. Inspectah Deck broke it down simple and plain. “You’re either Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Rangers … or Mets, Jets, Nets, Islanders.”
