The debut episode of the Jets All The Way Podcast showcases ESNY’s Geoff Magliocchetti and Robby Sabo discussing the Le’Veon Bell madness as well as the organization’s overall strategic plan.
The Jets All The Way Podcast has commenced.
ESNY’s New York Jets credentialed writers Geoff Magliocchetti and Robby Sabo bring the new show to Jets fandom in a way that focuses on in-depth, diehard ideas.
Le’Veon Bell has arrived. Of course, this constitutes a big-time aspect of the debut show. For four years and $52.5 million, the deal is considered a bargain in relative terms to the likes of Todd Gurley and others. But is it truly the right move?
Super Bowl champions never pay for the running back position. Since the New York Giants 2011 Super Bowl run, never has a top-three paid back been employed by a champion. Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks represents the top-paid champion coming in as the fourth-ranked back during the blowout over the Denver Broncos.
Reliability is also a huge factor. Bell has missed an incredible 2.125 seasons of a total six throughout his pro career. When taking out his “business decision” season of 2018, he’s missed 1.125 of a possible five.
On the other side, Bell, the last time we saw him, was the unquestioned most talented workhorse in the NFL.
Other topics included in the debut album have Geoff and Rob discussing the rest of free agency, possible NFL Draft strategies, and Mike Maccagnan’s annual allergic reactions when even thinking about drafting offensive linemen.
Jets All The Way is a West Side Story reference and will include the fans moving forward via future episodes.
