New York-native Chris “Mad Dog” Russo transforms to his old-school roots by absolutely losing it on his Super Bowl trivia contestants.

Rewind the clocks, folks, for Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo just took us back to the glory days.

On Wednesday, the Marquee lost his ever-loving mind on his Super Bowl trivia contestants. He simply couldn’t take the utter disgrace put in front of him.

Of course, this is Russo’s long-famed Super Bowl trivia he carried over from WFAN during his “Mike & The Mad Dog” days with Mike Francesa.

To be fair, Russo has gone rough this season with the questions. Instead of a couple layup spots at one and two, leading into the second half of the contest, he’s gone ultra-tough beginning with the initial question.

Still, the utter lack of quality by these listeners is enough to join Russo’s outrage.

Here’s the Marquee in classical form while with Francesa on WFAN years back:

Meanwhile, Francesa is still running the contest yet has drilled it down to a one audio question format.

The Marquee remains the people’s champ in this regard.

Thus far, (I believe) only two winners have been captured through three days. Chris Russo will either have to soften some of the questions or give out the extra tickets by Friday afternoon.
