New York Jets stud safety Jamal Adams announces the new color of his team’s 2019 uniforms in grand style … sort of.

Oh, that sneaky Jamal Adams.

When asked on Twitter about the New York Jets brand-new uniforms, the 2019 NFL All-Pro responded with the color of the new clothing.

Purple.

Now why would Adams go with the color purple?

Obviously, he’s messing around, but it could it be an ode to Kirk Cousins, the man who (thankfully) said, “Thanks but no thanks” to the Jets in favor the Minnesota Vikings?

It’s doubtful.

Adams is most likely just messing around with the most recent nosey Twitter user (and yes, there are too many of those).

Adams, 23, is the team’s best player (pending Sam Darnold’s sophomore campaign that could potentially take that title away). In 16 games this past season, he picked off a pass, collected 3.5 sacks, piled up 12 pass deflections, and added nine tackles behind the line of scrimmage all while collecting 115 total tackles (86 solo).

Until the Florham Park, New Jersey team finally unveils those brand new bad boys, uniform speculation will run wild (despite the purple call out from Jamal Adams).
