Ohio State quarterback and potential New York Giants draft target Dwayne Haskins pictures himself in a Giants uniform.

It seems Ohio State University quarterback Dwayne Haskins knows where he wants to end up in the upcoming NFL Draft. It’s not his choice really, but at least he has an idea.

The Rose Bowl-winning quarterback tweeted a picture on Tuesday of himself in a New York Giants uniform. This now-deleted tweet came just a day after he declared for the NFL Draft on Monday. Luckily there are screenshots of his social media activity.

Haskins was a Giants fan while growing up in Highland Park, NJ.

New York may have their eye on Haskins come April, as they believe they’re in immediate need for the successor to Eli Manning. It’s possible that the Giants decide to roll with Manning next season, but there are no guarantees.

Big Blue will have the sixth pick in the upcoming draft. However, they’re the first team in the draft order that doesn’t seem to have a current long-term plan at quarterback that they believe in. Therefore, Haskins could be the No. 1 target for Big Blue come the first round of the draft.

“Big Giants fan, went to all of Amani Toomer‘s camps growing up. Tiki Barber, Eli Manning, Jeremy Shockey, Antonio Pierce, Osi Umenyiora, Michael Strahan – I can go on and on,” Haskins mentioned to Art Stapleton of northjersey.com. “But, I definitely was a big Giants fan growing up. Loved watching them, and seeing Saquon [Barkley], how well he’s playing, I’m close friends with him, known him since I was a sophomore in high school, and it’s been really cool watching him playing.”

In his lone season for the Buckeyes, Haskins gained 4831 yards through the air and 50 touchdowns. Both were Ohio State single-season records. He’s predicted by many to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the draft this spring.
