Former Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant stopped to assist a pedestrian who was involved in a car crash.

Kobe Bryant’s doing great things even after basketball.

Reported by TMZ Sports on Thursday, after witnessing a car crash in Newport Beach, CA, Bryant jumped out of his Range Rover and fled to the scene. Bryant thus helped the person involved in the accident and made sure he was okay.

The other car involved had run a red light and slammed into a Tesla in the intersection. After helping the pedestrian out of his wrecked Tesla, the individual realized his phone had been crushed in the accident.

Bryant then offered to take pictures of the car and the scene with his cell phone.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the accident. Police officers did check in on the situation, however, no arrests were made on the scene either.

Kobe hasn’t been in the news as much as he was when he was a player. Although, it’s nice to see him being a good Samaritan in this here situation. However, you could see him in the news a lot more in the future.

According to former NBA legend and teammate of Kobe, Shaquille O’Neal, we “shouldn’t be surprised” if Kobe were to make an NBA comeback.

With LeBron James now a Laker, we could see one of the most iconic duos of all time play the game if Kobe were to return to basketball. Both Kobe and his wife have shut down rumors of a comeback, but to be honest, who knows what the Mamba has up his sleeve.

Maybe the 60-point game won’t be his last showing of greatness. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see, but it’s definitely a plus to see Kobe act this way in a situation such as this.
