Westbrook got something to say

Russell Westbrook took to Instagram and posted a video that appears to fire shots across the bow at Kevin Durant.
Tell us how you really feel, Russell Westbrook! Russ isn’t holding anything back after the Golden State Warriors and his former teammate, Kevin Durant, won the NBA Finals for the second straight year.
The song Russ is listening to is the N.W.A. diss track, “No Vaseline” by Ice Cube. “Used to be hard, now you’re just wet and soft” sounds like a shot at Durant. “I saw it coming, that’s why I went solo.” That’s interesting because Russ didn’t go solo by choice. If I recall correctly, Durant tucked tail in Oklahoma City and ran to Oakland to team up with Stephen Curry and company.
But I’m not here to put any words into Westbrook’s mouth. I’m sure he was just having some fun on his Instagram by listening to a great song. There’s absolutely no way this has anything to do with the Warriors sweep of the Cavaliers on Friday night. It must have been a funny coincidence.
Say what you will about Westbrook, he is one of the most loyal superstars in today’s NBA. Russ has been loyal to Oklahoma City despite the new superteam dynamic developing in the NBA. Some would say Russ is loyal to a fault.
But Westbrook should be careful about what he says right now. He might think he’s never going to leave OKC for a superteam, but it’s funny how quickly things can change. Look at KD. Not too long ago, he was all about “going at these peoples!” Now he’s playing alongside three other Hall of Famers on one of the most dominant teams in NBA history.
Now everybody wanna play for the heat and the Lakers? Let's go back to being competitive and going at these peoples!
