New York Jets fans are in full NFL Draft mode in the middle of January. So who does NFL Draft Insider Matt Miller have slated to wear green and white next season?

So many thoughts are on the minds of New York Jets fans. Will the Jets draft a defensive player in the first round for the 10th straight time? Could Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone have flipped the Jets this fast? Was Tommy Bohanon the x-factor that got away?

So many questions and so few answers…

There is a contingent of Jets fans hungry to know what gang green will do with the No. 6 pick and I have good news. The best man in the business at mock drafts has an updated report out.

NFL Draft Insider Matt Miller revealed his updated two-round mock draft prior to the conference championship games this upcoming weekend, here’s what he had to say about the Jets picks via Bleacher Report:

The Pick: QB Josh Allen, Wyoming

“With Rosen and Darnold off the board, the next-best quarterback is Josh Allen. You’ll hear in the next four months about how much potential he has, but the downside is that he is incredibly raw. He is a better prospect than Hackenberg was in 2016 (he’s a much better athlete and has better instincts), but fans will undoubtedly be afraid of another developmental quarterback. The upside is that if the Jets hit, Allen could be a Cam Newton or Ben Roethlisberger-type starter.”

While in the second round, Matt Miller has the Jets going defense by selecting cornerback Jaire Alexander out of Louisville. The 2018 NFL Draft starts Thursday, April 26th (in prime-time) and runs through Saturday, April 28th.
