Offseason is nothing to sneeze at, just some of the New York Yankees who have been putting in work to prepare for next season.

New York Yankees prospect Gleyber Torres may not even be on the team yet but he’s working like he has something to prove.

As the Yankees’ top prospect, he definitely does have to prove himself. Luckily, he’s taking his offseason training regimen very seriously.

Torres took to Twitter to document his offseason training program, posting a video of him doing some speed and agility drills.

But Torres isn’t the only one working for February. No, Cy Young nominee Luis Severino also posted some of his workout videos on Twitter and Instagram. Thursday marked a day to work out the abs and it looks…painful.

Gary Sanchez has also posted some workout videos from this offseason. Didi Gregorius has been filming in Curacao, showing off his workouts. Greg Bird has just posted some throwback photos from last season but I have no doubt that he’s getting his work in as well.

No matter what workouts they are doing, they are getting us all pumped for baseball season to start again.

And with this team focusing on getting back on the field, the other part of Yankees nation has been focusing on a certain Japanese superstar and his posting which will HOPEFULLY happen at some point today.

But when it comes to Shohei Ohtani, the Yankees are still just behind the Texas Rangers when it comes to international pool money. Even though the Los Angeles Angels made a trade today to earn some more money, the Yankees still are right up there in the battle for Ohtani.

Today could be a HUGE day for the Yankees if Ohtani is indeed posted. It could mean they are making their first giant purchase since the Baby Bombers era began. And that would be another Baby Bomber to add to the mix.

Ohtani, we’re all ready for you. The Yankees are showing off their workouts so you can see how serious we are! Are you ready to make the move?
