Through 35 minutes of football, the New York Jets suddenly don’t look like a joke. Josh McCown finds Robby Anderson for a big one.
Suddenly, these New York Jets don’t look like such a joke. Tanking? Winless?
Not even close.
Through 35 minutes of action in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, the Jets lead 17-0 at MetLife Stadium.
The big strike came in the second quarter when Josh McCown saw an eight-man box and let a nine-route fly to speedster Robby Anderson. Initially, it looked as if it was overthrown, but the Temple product ran right underneath it like a total pro:
When the defense constantly throws 8 in the box, you MUST take these one-on-one shots downfield. TD Josh McCown to Robby Anderson. #Jets pic.twitter.com/n1MNQm1LzW

On the series prior, Jamal Adams showed us all why he’s already one of the better safeties in the league. The kid can literally do it all:
Jamal Adams is already one of the best safeties in the NFL. Can do it all, deep half, edge, centerfield and get after the passer. #Jets pic.twitter.com/snSd71gORu

A Bilal Powell TD in the third quarter widened the lead to 17.
