Sound the alarms in State College, Pennsylvania. After going dormant for a while, Mike Francesa’s volcanic criticism of Penn State head coach James Franklin violently erupted during Monday afternoon’s show.
This was one of Mike’s better rants and if we’re being honest with ourselves–the man has a point.
The game has already been handily decided and icing the kicker is the move? The newest version of Madden was recently released but this isn’t a video game, coach. Show some class and let the game end without having to change personnel in an attempt to preserve a shutout. Those three points likely aren’t going to sway the committee’s vote when it comes time to vote for the college football playoff.
It’s been some time since Mike has launched an all out verbal assault on one individual with this magnitude. Has he ever called someone a “horse’s ass” on a live show before?!
Mike may or may not being leaving WFAN in a few months, but if there’s one thing that’s certain–his passion for sports hasn’t wavered, uhkay?
