Call us cleat chasers if you must, but these New York Yankees cleats from Player’s Weekend are straight fire.
It’s not about what you wear. Well, actually it is, especially for the New York Yankees on Player’s Weekend.
All the hype was surrounding the nicknames on the jerseys but the real impressive part of the jersey isn’t from head to toe…it’s just the toes.
Several Yankees took it into their own hands to design their own personal cleats for this weekend and the results are just phenomenal.
So we’ve compiled all the awesome cleats in one place for your personal enjoyment. Take a look at what some of our favorite players are sporting this weekend.
The hefty lefty showed off one of his pairs of cleats on Instagram and, coinciding with the impending Game of Thrones finale, they completely work.
Gives a whole new meaning to “Bend the Knee,” especially since we’re not sure if CC can even bend his knee after all the problems he’s had.
Regardless, these cleats are on point. Nice work, Sabathia.
CC also boasted some cleats with his kids’ names in them, captioning his post “I do it for them.”

The artist himself, Didi Gregorius, took it into his own hands to design something goofy, fun and unique…much like his own personality.
Referencing Looney Tunes for his shoes, they bring you right back to your childhood days of sitting in front of the TV, binging on Saturday morning cartoons.

Daymmmm Dellin, back at it again with the hot cleats.
Hopefully you all got the reference but if not, you might have been off the internet for the past two years.

My personal favorite, Clint Frazier killed the game with his cleats paying homage to one of the greatest animated films of all time (don’t @ me). Plus, he added South Park and a touch to his “Ginger” side all on one cleat.
Not pictured, he also had a Rugrats hat made up just for him. What an incredible idea by the awesome rookie.
The real question is, are they selling these? Because I would be the first one in line to toss some money for these shoes.
There are so many more cleats that could be included but these ones stand out above the rest. Happy Player’s Weekend, enjoy it while it lasts.
