The Knicks are surrounded by some rumors on draft day involving Kristaps Porzingis and Phil Jackson. What will happen with that No. 8 pick?

The 2017 NBA Draft is here, and it’s all about the drama for the New York Knicks. I know, big surprise. It’s all been about Phil Jackson‘s grudge with Kristaps Porzingis over a missed exit meeting.

Jackson is talking to Danny Ainge about a Porzingis deal. Phil wants too much, but Boston is determined. The Knicks want the Brooklyn pick, Jae Crowder, and Jaylen Brown.

Will Jackson move Porzingis to New York’s hated division rival. Will he move him at all?

Oh yeah, Phil Jackson is falling asleep during draft workouts. You’ve been hearing about all this stuff and more all day. It’s time for the draft.

Let’s get into it for all the Knicks fans.

Update: Per Begley, Joakim Noah has come up in Porzingis trade talks.

Update: Per Isola, the Celtics trying to get TWolves 7th pick. Could be part of KP trade.

Update: Per Begley, the Suns remain in ‘active pursuit’ of Porzingis.

Ian Begley of ESPN New York and Frank Isola of The New York Daily News reported that Boston has made an offer to the Knicks, but the Knicks want too much.

Jae Crowder, Jaylen Brown, and some Brooklyn picks is a steep asking price.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin later reported that talks between the Knicks and Celtics have said that New York’s demands are “ridiculous.”

In lighter news, ESPN’s Jay Williams went on TV and said that one of the draft’s prospects told him that Phil was falling in and out of sleep during his workout.

Wow.
