The 2017 NBA Draft is here, and it’s all about the drama for the New York Knicks. I know, big surprise. It’s all been about Phil Jackson’s grudge with Kristaps Porzingis over a missed exit meeting.Jackson is talking to Danny Ainge about a Porzingis deal. Phil wants too much, but Boston is determined. The Knicks want the Brooklyn pick, Jae Crowder, and Jaylen Brown.

There is talk of Boston trying to make a deal with Minnesota to acquire the No. 7 pick. That could be part of a bigger Porzingis trade.

Ian Begley of ESPN New York and Frank Isola of The New York Daily News reported that Boston has made an offer to the Knicks, but the Knicks want too much.
Jae Crowder, Jaylen Brown, and some Brooklyn picks is a steep asking price.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin later reported that talks between the Knicks and Celtics have said that New York’s demands are “ridiculous.”

In lighter news, ESPN’s Jay Williams went on TV and said that one of the draft’s prospects told him that Phil was falling in and out of sleep during his workout.
