The Golden State Warriors’ dominance has led to a discussion about whether they’re the best team of all time. Magic Johnson doesn’t think so.

Fans hate the Golden State Warriors. They hate that Kevin Durant went and formed a super team with Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson. Current players resent the Warriors because their team’s don’t stand a chance. However, it’s the ex-NBA players and legends who have a lack of respect for this incredible team.

Add Magic Johnson to the list. The former Los Angeles Lakers point guard and leader of “Showtime” appeared at an event with his old head coach Pat Riley.

Johnson dropped the hammer on the Warriors, saying that his old squad would’ve swept this dominant super team. He points to the size of his squad as a reason. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would definitely be a tough cover for Golden State.

Typically it’s hate for Steph that brings out this kind of reaction from the old-timers. They don’t like that the Warriors are a jump-shooting team and consider them soft.

Oscar Robertson took a memorable shot at Curry, implying that the two-time MVP thrived because modern coaches didn’t know anything about defense.
