New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. decides to hang with his possible girlfriend Iggy Azalea rather than go to OTAs.
So what happened to showing up to OTAs, Odell Beckham Jr.? The New York Giants receiver didn’t show up to the team’s OTAs on Thursday after saying that he would.
So what’s Beckham’s excuse this time? He was partying with his new possible girlfriend Iggy Azalea. That’s right, Beckham is supposedly dating Azalea to some. Who knew? The two partied at the Bowlero Woodland Hills bowling center in Los Angeles, according to Emily Smith of Page Six.
A source at the bowlng center said,”They were with a small group of friends and rented the full venue out for their group, just having fun, bowling and eating throughout their visit.” The source added that the singer and receiver were being romantic with each other, gigglng and cozying up to each other.
Beckham missed the first two days of the OTAs after hanging out with Johnny Manziel. Defensive end Olivier Vernon was also not at the OTAs. The Giant would like to have Bekham and Vernon at the OTAs though.
“You want all your players here, especially your great players,” Big Blue coach Ben McAdoo said. It’s a time to build fundamentals, communication, chemistry and trust, so you want all your players here, especially the great ones. They facilitate a lot of those things for you. But you coach who is here. That’s what time of the year it is for us.”
Defensive tackle Damon Harrison also weighed in.
“It’s voluntary,” he said. “I’m more than sure OV and OBJ are somewhere working out just as hard, or maybe harder than we are. I am confident they’re going to come in and be ready. They have some valid reasons they’re not here. I’m sure they’re not here just because they didn’t feel like coming. If I didn’t live in New Jersey full-time, I probably wouldn’t be here right now.”
Beckham has attended some of the Giants offseason workout program. He responded to criticism on Twitter saying, “If they don’t have a story these days they’ll make one…” I might get that tatted.”
