Current New York Jets star, Sheldon Richardson has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, a fellow player has some advice for him.

The New York Jets started their OTA’s this week and Sheldon Richardson’s comments have made waves around the league. Well apparently not everywhere as Kimberly Martin found out:

“Sheldon get away from the microphone”, not a bad idea. Actually while we’re at it, maybe away from social media as a whole. That Snapchat stunt from last year is still pretty fresh in everyone’s minds.

I think I can speak collectively for all Jets fans, “we miss Damon ‘Snacks’ Harrison“. A fun loving player who always brought an energetic presence to the locker room. Speaking of the locker room.

The real question that is raised here is, will Sheldon ever get it? I mean he’s 26 years old and it seems that he hasn’t figured out how to be a pro. It’s more than just being really good at football.

Plenty of talented players in history haven’t been able to stay on the field because they couldn’t keep it together. If Sheldon doesn’t improve his act he’s going to join that infamous list of players who never lived up to the hype.

People call me Boy Green for my unwavering dedication to all things New York Jets. I work at The Score 1260 in Syracuse and I'm extremely passionate about sports. I aspire to continue my rise through the business and hopefully I'll end up working for the New York Jets in some capacity.
