A seemingly quiet off-day for the New York Yankees actually led to a whole lot of entertaining news for our favorite New York team.

If you were face-to-face with Aaron Judge, one of the biggest (literally) stars of the New York Yankees, would you recognize him?

Apparently no one does, not that the gap between his teeth is a dead giveaway. But Judge tried his hand at interviewing when he was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.

Fallon, who is known for putting people in the spot, did just that by making Judge dress up as a reporter while wearing Clark Kent-esque glasses and questioning New Yorkers about his play.

Hint, it’s beyond hilarious. The truth is, not a lot of people recognize “Adam” Judge, even when the mammoth right fielder is sitting right next to them.

So if you’re ever in New York, make sure to keep an eye out for any disguised Yankee players so you don’t look like an idiot when they start asking you questions.

And to the guy who said Brett Gardner was his favorite player this year, I salute you.

Derek Jeter Day was an incredible time. However, I think the only person to have more fun than Derek Jeter was actually Mr. T, aka Joe Torre.

Torre released selfies he had taken Sunday afternoon with some of our favorite Yankees from the 1990s, including one with the man of the hour.

If the five World Series championships wasn’t enough to make you love Torre, these selfies might just do it. Ah, my fourth grade self is getting goosebumps.

Meanwhile, Clint Frazier has been on a tear in the minor leagues. However, during last night’s Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders game, he struck out and…well, he made the bat pay.

That is pure strength from Red Thunder, who was clearly not impressed with the outcome of his at-bat. Hey, at least he’s passionate about the game.

But who did it better: Clint Frazier or Brett Gardner bashing in the recycling bin?

The Yankees have gotten us through this off-day but now we get to see some Yankees baseball tonight. Finally!
