A recent report has Mike Maccagnan and the New York Jets extremely intrigued with the possibility of tight end O.J. Howard at No. 6.

The drama continues as we are now under an hour from the start of the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For the New York Jets, the drama, obviously, continues.

Will Mike Maccagnan truly take the best available player or will he be tempted to go with a Mitchell Trubisky or Deshaun Watson if one or both are available at the No. 6 spot?

Nobody knows. What we do know is that there are many possibilities, one that includes Miami tight end O.J. Howard. And a recent report provides credence to the idea they might take the Miami stud.

According to an unnamed source who spoke to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, O.J. Howard could well be the selection for the Jets tonight at six because they see him as “An immediate Pro-Bowl-level player.”

Whether it pans out that way or not, only time will tell.

The Jets selection should come our way around 9 p.m. ET tonight.
