The 2017 NFL schedule is out, meaning so many so-called “experts” look to classify each slate, especially the New York Jets.

Are we still waiting on the 2017 NFL Draft? I mean, come on now. This is getting ridiculous.

The NFL offseason is far too long to have to wait this length of time. I’m sure Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr. agree, as each is on his 157th version of his mock draft.

As far as the New York Jets are concerned, we still have no idea what’s going to go down in the No. 6 slot. Many of the signs point to Mike Maccagnan appropriately looking to trade down. With a personnel base such as his, acquiring multiple assets is the ticket for future growth.

Still, there’s no guarantee he’ll be able to find a trade partner.

On the schedule front, we now know the Jets schedule. They’ll open in Buffalo and close in New England, two tough road games acting as bookends to the season.
