Now that John Ross holds the NFL Combine mark in the 40-yard dash, we compare it against Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones.
Blazing speed. It’s a hell of a thing.
It’s such a thing that NFL personnel decision-makers dream of it when they go to sleep only to salivate when they walk into the RCA Dome every day around this time of year.
The NFL Combine is back and another record just bit the dust. Actually, the top record just bit the dust.
John Ross, the highly-touted Washington receiver, broke Chris Johnson‘s longstanding 40-yard dash record of 4.24 by running an amazing 4.22 on Friday.
He even called it beforehand, via AP:
“Under 4.3 [seconds],” the former Washington wide receiver told reporters. “That’s what I plan to run.”
Now that he did the deed, we take a look at how his run compares to one of our favorites, Odell Beckham Jr. Courtesy of NFL Network, Atlanta Falcons explosive wideout Julio Jones, who’s probably still licking his open Super Bowl wounds, is included as well.
As you can easily see from the video above, both OBJ and Julio were no match for the new record-holder (video above).
