With fans worldwide clamoring at the fact to see Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather fight, it seems as if the two parties believe the bout is possible.
There is currently a massive buzz around the sports of Boxing and MMA which is dominated by the thought of a potential fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and “The Notorious” Conor McGregor.
Not only are fans clamoring to see the bout, but it seems as if the two fighters want nothing less but to face each other.
“I got my eyes on one thing and that’s Floyd Mayweather,” McGregor told ESPN. Given the idea of a timetable for the potential fight, McGregor believes the fight “will happen by the end of this year or early next year.”
In response to McGregor’s comments, Mayweather said during an interview with Showtime on Saturday, “I believe the fight could happen. He’s a tough competitor and has proved throughout the years in the UFC that he can fight standing up,”
It is evident that the two sides have mutual interest in facing each other, but it will all come down to one thing to determine whether or not the fight will actually happen, the price tag.
