A disappointing end to the 2016 season for the New York Jets comes on Sunday, and with it brings the possible departure of some familiar faces around the organization.

Any and all moves made by the Jets brass should come as no surprise, as expectations were high entering this season.

So, as we all prepare to say goodbye to 2016, who could the Jets be looking to move on from in the new year?

Many of the top names have already been bandied about. Today, we make sense of it all.

Here they are:

Sports have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born in Queens, New York, I took to the Mets and the Jets at a young age, and actually have a video of myself reciting the 1986 Mets 25-man roster at age 3. Covering New York Sports is a dream come true. After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, I was able to fully realise my potential of turning my liking for sports into a career that I love.
