The New York Jets and New England Patriots are now strangers to each other. This will be the 113th time these two teams will tango on the gridiron, and the Patriots own a 58-53-1 all-time record against the Jets.

This will be the second edition of the New York Jets vs the New England Patriots in 2016. The Jets gave New England all they could handle in the first contest, but Malcolm Mitchell‘s game-winning touchdown catch with under two minutes left in the game gave the Pats the 22-17 victory.

Four out of the last five games in this rivalry have been won by New England, which is pretty much the story of the recent history between these squads.

The Patriots have dominated the Jets under the Bill Belichick era. Belichick owns a 24-11 record against the Jets. Only five of the eleven victories the Jets have over Belichick have come in Foxborough.

Sports have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born in Queens, New York, I took to the Mets and the Jets at a young age, and actually have a video of myself reciting the 1986 Mets 25-man roster at age 3. Covering New York Sports is a dream come true. After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, I was able to fully realise my potential of turning my liking for sports into a career that I love.
