Remember Anthony Davis?

Somehow we forgot how good Anthony Davis was. Maybe it was because Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingis stole the show last season in his absence and they were instantly dubbed the big men of the future.

All it took was a 50 point performance on opening night to refresh our memories. He filled the stat sheet against the Nuggets with 16 rebounds, five assists, seven steals, and four blocks. According to ESPN Stats and Info, a performance like that has never happened in the history of the NBA.

He’s continued his dominance on both ends of the court without any reward. The return of Jrue Holiday has provided a spark and a three-game win streak, but the Pels dug themselves a deep hole with their 2-10 start. There’s only so much Holiday’s return can do.
