OF – Bryce Harper
As Mets fans know by now, Bryce Harper is a bit of a hot head.
Last August, Harper was ejected from an extremely important game against the Mets because he thought his strikeout in the eleventh inning should have been ball four. The Mets won that game in 12 innings on a walk-off home run by Wilmer Flores. You know where the story goes from there.
Later in the season, the National League MVP’s anger issues made their way into the national headlines.
Harper got into a screaming match with teammate Jonathan Papelbon, at the end of the dugout, over his lack of hustle on a fly out. The fight culminated when Harper was choked and slammed against the wall by Papelbon. The altercation had to be broken up by teammates and coaches and capped off what was a disappointing season for the Nationals.
