The Baltimore Orioles were able to defeat the Texas Rangers 5-1 last night, but the greatest storyline occurred during the ceremonial first pitch.
Meet Zion Harvey. A nine-year-old who became the youngest trooper to undergo a bilateral hand transplant.
While most individuals would have trouble pursuing everyday activities or merely accepting the new hand without rejection, Zion took it to pitching. Approximately one year after the operation, he tossed the first pitch at an O’s-Rangers game.
