We’re still a full day away from the start of NBA Free Agency, and already there are deals being reported with the New York Knicks involved.
According to Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post, free-agent center Joakim Noah will sign with the New York Knicks.
As many sources have indicated, Noah has been in New York for the past few weeks while enjoying life, where he’ll reportedly be playing next season.
For the past few days speculation has run wild that Noah would sign with New York to play with his former Chicago Bulls teammate Derrick Rose.
As mentioned earlier in Bontemps’ report, the deal expects Noah to receive a yearly salary of approximately $18 million per year.
Word is Noah loves his hometown NY dearly & dreams of playing for NYK. Saw him walking around NY smiling last week. https://t.co/79QiUiLQxv

It was quite obvious that New York’s number one priority was to bring in a big man after trading Robin Lopez to Chicago. It appears they’ve found their guy while reuniting the former Bulls teammates together again.
Sources: Joakim Noah is expected to reunite with Derrick Rose & return to NYC on a deal starting around $18 million. https://t.co/0W3KSrlPcl
