In one of the least anticipated horse races in quite some time, Creator took home the win at the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.

Yes folks, the Belmont Stakes were today.

Don’t act like you knew. Please, don’t be that guy. You didn’t. You completely forgot, and for good reason.

Saturday’s Belmont Stakes was one of the least anticipated races in quite some time. Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist wasn’t participating and, quite honestly, there wasn’t much juice.

The show still went on and Creator took the race by a nose.

Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. took his time with Creator as they held back for most of the race. And then bam, Creator finished strong to edge out Destin by the slimmest of margins:
