New York Jets: Could Ryan Fitzpatrick Or Geno Smith Perform The Jet Ski Trick Shot? (Video)

Watching these college kids perform the Jet Ski trick shot made us wonder if the 2015 New York Jets quarterbacks could do the same thing.

It’s a shame. When referring to both Ryan Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith, the correct way to do so is by referring to them as New York Jets 2015 quarterbacks.

Geno is on the roster but Fitz remains lingering out in free agent land.

Nevertheless, it feels as though the Harvard grad is part of the team still. So much so that when Texas Longhorns freshman Shane Buechele and Oklahoma State Cowboys junior Mason Rudolph showed us what the jet ski trick shot is, we couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if both Fitz and Geno took a run at it.

If it was Fitz, expect an under-throw. With the swirling winds out on the lake, arm strength would be bound to catch up to the 33-year old vet.

If it was Geno making a run at this particular trick-shot, expect a wild one. The jet ski driver might have to abandon ship and lay out for the ball. A helmet could be mandatory if the wildly inaccurate Geno is at it.

Imagination aside, these college kids nailed it on this Memorial Day.
