Thanks to youngsters Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon, the NBA can now finally proclaim that “The Dunk Is Back” for the league’s All-Star Saturday Night.

Phenomenal video here done by Bleacher Report, and inspired by what the world witnessed on Saturday night during the NBA’s Slam-Dunk Contest.

With each passing round, Minnesota Timberwolves youngster Zach LaVine and Orlando Magic’s seemingly unknown Aaron Gordon shocked the viewing audience. Each guy’s unique blend of size, athleticism and grace brought us back to a much simpler and talented era – the 1980s.

The head-to-head battle brought nostalgic memories of Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan to our minds.

Instead of a WWE-style layout – like we saw years ago with Nate Robertson and Dwight Howard using silly props and costumes – LaVine and Gordon showcased actual skill during their night.

And thanks to this skill, Bleacher Report put together a phenomenal video titled The Dunk Is Back, consisting of all the incredible dunks we’ve seen through the years:
