Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant just can’t help but open his big trap as it relates to the media. This time the subject is Kobe Bryant.

Is this guy actually serious? Why does Kevin Durant have such an issue with the media these days?
I understand he feels he was burned once already, but smarter heads would usually come together and realize the Durant camp would be much better off becoming friends with the media, not enemies.
In his latest “tear the media up” episode, Durant goes off on the media’s treatment of Kobe Bryant. Per an Anthony Slater tweet of the Oklahoman, Durant uses some NSFW language in his rant.

Durant was just eight-years old when Kobe entered the NBA in 1996. So, that alone could answer why he’s so up-in-arms about the situation.
But I ask this Kevin Durant. Why would it be OK for the media to praise Kobe Bryant when he’s doing well and winning championships, but not point out when he’s shooting a dismal .305 from the floor?
Is it too much to ask the man to shoot less than an absurd 16.9 times per game and start to showcase his other skills during the twilight of his career?
I don’t think it’s unfair at all. I know the Los Angeles Lakers organization would enjoy that. They have a couple of diamonds in the rough who need more shots.
