Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford decided to throw a block on ‘Monday Night Football.’ That was, until, he thought better of it.

No chance in the world his teammates will let him get away scot-free for this one.

Check out Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford here. On a run by rookie Ameer Abdullah – who reversed field to the non-design side on a run – Stafford was put in a position many quarterbacks find themselves in when running backs perform such a move.

He was in the vulnerable spot of being able to throw a block.

So, he charged hard. That was, until, he thought better of it and ran away (video above).

Not even cornerbacks back-pedal that fast when their playing seven-yards off.

He surely isn’t New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. That much we do know.
