While gauging how to go about the Patriots, Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan proclaims only ‘King Kong can cover Rob Gronkowski.’

Anybody living in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area is used to it. “It” being the loudness coming from head coach Rex Ryan.

Ryan, who served as New York Jets head coach for six seasons, is now in Buffalo coaching a nasty-looking defense with the Bills. And while his overall record was just 47-50, Ryan’s personality never realized it.

His way is always to give a boost to his team of “bullies” by talking them up and injecting confidence. Nothing has changed.

In preparation of the New England Patriots this coming Sunday, Rex wasn’t shy when discussing Pats tight-end Rob Gronkowski.

Ryan has already revealed his strategy to oppose Gronk, via Mike Rodak of ESPN.

“We’re not going to ask one guy to cover him,” Ryan said Wednesday. “Yeah, he’d have to look like King Kong.”

On one hand you have to love the candid way Ryan goes about his business. On the other hand it can be called the dumbest thing in the world to speak too much.
